COVID-19
General information and clinic visit note for Covid-19 (Coronavirus disease)
The Q&D Acupuncture clinic team is adhering to the recommendations from the Department of Health & Acupuncture Council of Ireland (ACI) with regards to protecting ourselves and our clients. We are currently open as normal but strictly adhering to all the guidelines as the health and safety of our customers is our number one concern! We are closely monitoring all available information on COVID-19 (Coronavirus) as the situation continues to develop.
Our clinic will supply safe and comfortable individual treatment room for each client with standard disinfection hygiene environment to give you best treatment.
Our staffs have been given cleaning products (70% alcohol gel) to use between each client. Disinfectants are located at the reception and other common areas in to enable regular disinfecting or these areas. Regular washing of hands is being implemented as standard for all therapists, staff, and clients at the clinic.
All clients are requested to wear face mask before entering the clinic and during the treatment in the clinic. They also have to disinfect their HANDS with the provided alcohol gel or wipes at entry or prior to treatment. The must also fill out a Covid-19 consent for treatment and data protection term.
Because of Covid-19 pandemic, we can’t ask client to open the mouth to check their tongue colour and coating as traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis method. Instead we request all the clients to send us a picture of their tongue to info@qdacupuncture.ie (or WhatsApp at 086 8033948) one to two days before their clinic visiting.
We ask our clients that if they are displaying any flu-like symptoms such as sore throat, fever, runny nose, coughing, sneezing to avoid visiting the clinic until these symptoms have eased. This is good practice at any time of the year, but in this time of heightened awareness we would like to emphasize this request self-Isolation. If you have decided to remain in isolation, and cannot attend due to this, then please contact the clinic with details of your name and appointment day, time. We will be happy to see you again when you feel ready.
If the current advice changes, this will change in line with the advice.
We hope you all stay healthy, well and stress free during this uncertain time, and if you do have any further queries please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help.
